Gwenda felt that she wanted to change her house’s interior ‘look’ and that was where Murray Hunt stepped in. We worked together with Gwenda to decide what should be kept & maintained and what was to be changed. It was decided that existing drapes were to be kept, but new voiles and sunscreen roller blinds would be added to tie in with the rest of the new interior. New carpet, wallpaper, paint, kitchen bench top and replacement kitchen cupboard doors were the new elements selected to change up Gwenda’s interior.
Roman blinds were also installed on the kitchen windows to soften the hard edge line. New furniture styles were selected and fabrics chosen to offer contrast and texture. Dining table & chairs were selected to work together with the coffee table by colour and wood type. Bedside furniture was chosen for their style and colour and the addition of a padded headboard gave the bedroom a more feminine and luxurious look. Throughout Gwenda’s unit; cushions, ornaments and throws were utilised to add interest and colour contrast.
Working in a close relationship with Gwenda, listening to her likes and expectations, enabled Murray Hunt to furnish her home as a special haven with a complete new look that she can relax and feel at home in.
